Farm-Raised Beef

Know where your food comes from!

Our cows are on rotational grazing throughout the growing season. They are wintered in and around the barn where they are dry and out of the weather if they choose. They are grass fed, and supplemented by various grains.

We sell our beef by half, whole, or by cuts. Half or whole cow $6.50/lb hanging weight (weighs approximately 550-700lbs HW). This price includes raising, butchering, processing in vacuum sealed packages to your liking, special items such as ground beef patties, beef sausage and shaved steak are an extra charge.  With halves and wholes you get to custom order what you would like for cuts and thicknesses of meat. We are available to help you fill out your own cut sheet to get what you like. We currently have a wait list. We process 30 beef a year with about half of those going towards our markets and stores and half of them for our customers who want half or whole cows. All meat is processed by The Local Butcher, a USDA butcher in Barnstead, New Hampshire.

We also sell beef by the cuts by appointment on the farm, Little Red Hen in Pittsfield, Osbornes Farm and Garden in Belmont and Concord. You can also find us at the Gilmanton Community Farmers Market at 1385 NH-140 Gilmanton IW Sundays 11-2 from mid June to mid October or The Market at Weirs 9 Lucerne Ave Laconia on 8/10/24, 8/24/24, 9/14/24, and 9/28/24 from 10-1.
